POWER - Bay Area (Physical science Opportunities for Women in Education and Research - Bay Area) is a mentoring program and workshop series for Bay Area community college students in the physical sciences. The program is targeted at women, particularly those from groups traditionally underrepresented in STEM, including but not limited to trans women, Black women, Latinx women, Indigenous women, women with disabilities, women who are the first in their families to attend college, and women from low-income backgrounds.
